Our tips to keeping organised

Organised...mum....is that supposed to be a joke? No! We know that whether you’re a stay-at-home, working or single mum, keeping organised can be a huge job. There’s always a job to be done, and often there are 7 jobs which need to be done at the same time! So how do we do it?

The easiest way to stay organised is to remove any clutter from the home. Try not to allow a build-up of papers, nick-knacks and everyday objects to accumulate. This simple task can sometimes be the hardest! By keeping clutter down, you will be surprised at how much clearer your mind (and house) becomes!

Some of the biggest mess-makers around the home are loose keys and daily objects. These things will be constantly strewn across the house and forgotten about until the next time they’re needed. Help un-clutter your home by designating an area to store all of these objects in. A shelf with hooks hung near the door usually does the trick!
Filing cabinets are not only useful in the office; they are very beneficial in the home. Having a filing system at home is ideal for mums and dads who have difficulty keeping papers together and staying organised. It is also an effective way to store past bills and notices, by keeping them together for easy retrieval if needed.
Organisation doesn’t just belong inside the house, there are a few key items that need to go with your when you step outside each day.
